Dray Horse Ale

Afull-bodied brown ale made with Ontario-grown hops and malt.

Dray Horse Ale is the second installment of Black Creek’s 12 Historic Beers of Canada series, which launched in June with Rifleman’s Ration, a brown ale marking the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

A dray horse was a a horse adapted for drawing heavy loads, such as barges, in the 1820-1829 era of canal building throughout Canada.

I really enjoyed this one. It had a great flavour, did not have a strong aftertaste... All in all if you can find this one get it!
